Volunteers are the driving force behind Heat Bank. They help split, stack & deliver firewood, assist with fundraising events, serve on our board of directors and spread the word about local energy assistance.
Whether you can give a few hours a week or help occasionally, your time and skills make a real difference for people facing heat and hydro insecurity.
Ways to Help:
- Firewood Crew: Cut, split, and stack donated firewood at one of our depots.
- Delivery Drivers: Pick up and Deliver firewood to households in need.
- Fundraising & Events: Help organize or support community fundraisers that power our work.
- Advocacy & Outreach: Share information about Heat Bank in the community and help connect people with resources.
- Board Members: Apply your leadership skills in governance, strategic planning, capital campaigns, fund development or legal expertise to increase our future impact.
